Stairs to the Lake June 28, 2009
Dave was determined to get the stairs to the Lake. He worked very hard over several weeks to complete the stairs. I was pretty skeptical of his plan but Dave has built a very sturdy set of stairs to the Lake. He said it is only 14 feet....but boy it looks higher than that.

Cumberland Head Bedrooms Completed
A day bed with trundle completes the second bedroom.
We painted the bed and added a new matress set and some curtains and bedspread.
The furniture in the master bedroom was all painted white. We found a dresser at the Community Yard sale and painted that white also. The painting on the wall is by Maurice Utrillo..... a real find at the Antiques mall in Plattsburgh.

Memorial Day Weekend 2009
George and Zachary had a boy's roadtrip and came to visit us at the Lake. We played cards, went to the movies, had a ferry ride, played golf and croquet and had a cookout.
What an impish look on Zachary!
Grandpa gives Zachary a boost to use the vieweer on the Ferry.
The 18TH hole at Arrowhead Golf Course. Grandma and Zachary got to use the cart while Grandpa and George walked the course.

Nothing better than a rainbow and a great sunset !
Sammy and Sophie are adjusting to the new place slowly. They still have the tendancy to cluster on the sofa.
The living and dining room areas have been completed with the floors finshed and the addition of furniture, carpets and art. Below is the framed Eiffel Tower print from Paris.
The Office area has a fresh coat of paint.
