August 17th Discovery of the Grease Eater

Today was pretty hot, up into the low 90"s. Dave got home late after work so we went for a swim @ 7PM. We had a cookout late on the deck, as the sun went down we lit the tikki torches and enjoyed a glass of wine. I had turned out the other lights so the bugs would not be drawn to our spot. Out of the corner of Dave's eye he spotted..........a skunk......running around on the deck. Needless to say we beat a hasty retreat. I discovered he came back again when I turned on the outside light.......off he went over to Frank's yard. I retreived the grease bucket from the grill. I had always wondered what was getting into the grease bucket after our previous cookouts.......seems we have a little skunk cleaning the grease catcher after our cookouts.

August 16, 2009 Last day of Vacation Valcour Island

This morning we got up early and took a bike ride around the loop. Afterward we headed out in the boat to Valcour Island. Dave parked in an area between Valcour Island and a small Island. The breeze was great. After lunch we headed back home to swim and relax on our last day of Vacation
